Industry 4.0: Manufacturing in the age of Automation & AI
The 8th AIMA MSME Convention was conducted on 6-7th September, 2018 at Hyderabad in partnership with NI-MSME, Govt. of India, Ministry of MSME, Federation of Telangana Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FTAPCCI) and Hyderabad Management Association. The Convention was inaugurated by Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, IAS, Secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of MSME. In the convention the audience comprised of 600 MSME’s represented from India, Africa and Korea.
A total of 12 startups were shortlisted from across India which included Bodhable. Ankit Kush, Founder and CEO, Bodhable was one of the panellists for discussion on Manufacturing Automation: The Future of MSMEs along with Bosh, India Head, BD and Chief Architect, TCS. The following themes were the centre of focus throughout the discussion. Among other things, the panel deliberated on:
- The need for adoption of automation in MSMEs
- How can start-up adapt to the changes in automation landscape?
- Automation and Anxiety: Will smarter machines cause a danger of mass unemployment?
- The future: AI and Application of Business Analytics in MSME
